This is my tattoo artist Shane Hanson. He has been tattooing for about 15 years and has been an artist his entire life. He is one of the most interesting people I've met in a long time. When shane isn't giving out tattoos for written agreements signing over the souls of his clients he enjoys lucha libre style wrestling and raising 3 kids.

While i was photographing this woman i asked her when she last got her photo taken. She replied that it had been 10-12 years…….This made me think that this photo may very well be one of the last existing photos of her because if i hadn't of come around the years would have kept going.

Obviously i love cameras and collecting cameras but its almost like my interest in them isn't just for their value i love the history each one tells and thinking about what kind of photos its taken before me! This a pre WWII german made Zeiss-Ikon Contax that is only serial number 31454 this is a piece of history and now it is my piece of history :)

I was thinking about my picture today on my way to work and i thought about how busy it would be because of the new gun laws being anticipated. I don't particularly care for these guns but it is a very controversial weapon it was involved with the colorado shootings and the new town massacre. I am assuming that it will be a long time before i have the chance to see another AR-15 so i photographed one while i still had the chance. Enjoy and look back at this in a few months to see if my prediction was wrong haha

Well here goes another year of this day to day procedure of photography it should be interesting. My last complete 365 assignment just so happened to be during the most important year of my life so for my sake i hope this year is less eventful and more relaxed i plan to shoot a lot of film this year so please bear with me on the late posts I'm trying to take a different approach then i have in the past. This is a photo i saw a few days ago and just had to come back too for the first photo i hope you enjoy the documentation of my life for the year to come.
